ClipSave for X is a browser extension provided by CX Growth Lab. This notice explains how the extension handles information when you use it to save public video from X posts.

What ClipSave for X does

When you actively use its download controls, ClipSave for X checks the public X post you selected for available MP4 video sources and asks your browser to save the chosen file locally. It is designed for content you own or have permission to download.

Information the extension processes

To provide the requested feature, the extension may process the public post URL, public post identifier, public media URLs, video metadata such as title or thumbnail, and your selected interface language. The extension does not request your X password, direct messages, payment information, contacts, or browsing history.

Local handling and downloads

Video discovery occurs in your browser in connection with the public X post you select. Downloaded files are sent directly to the location you choose through your browser’s download function. ClipSave for X does not upload the downloaded video to a CX Growth Lab server.

Storage and sharing

The extension stores your language preference in your browser’s extension storage. ClipSave for X does not sell personal information, create advertising profiles, or share personal information with data brokers. Links you voluntarily open, including WhatsApp and the CX Growth Lab contact page, are governed by the privacy practices of those services.

Permissions

The extension uses browser permissions only to display its controls on X and Twitter pages, inspect the active public post after you request a download, save a file through your browser, and remember your language preference.

Your choices

You can stop use at any time by disabling or removing ClipSave for X from your browser. You can remove downloaded files from your device using your normal file controls, and you can clear the extension’s saved language preference by removing the extension.

Copyright and acceptable use

You are responsible for confirming that you have the right to download and use any media. Do not use ClipSave for X to access private, paid, restricted, or copyrighted content without authorization.

Changes to this notice

We may update this notice to reflect changes to the extension or applicable requirements. The effective date above indicates the latest revision.
