Linghui AI (“the Extension”) is an independent Chrome side-panel tool for text-to-image generation, image-to-image editing, image prompt recognition, model synchronization, and local task history. This policy explains what information the Extension processes, where that information is sent, and how you can manage or delete it.
1. Information We Process
API Configuration
When you configure a third-party AI gateway, the Extension processes the API base URL and API key you enter, together with preferences such as automatic model synchronization, history storage, and result layout. These settings are stored in Chrome extension local storage and are used to send requests to the endpoint you choose. The Extension developer does not collect or centrally store your API key on a developer-operated server.
Creative Content
When you actively use a generation or recognition feature, the Extension may process:
- Prompts, editing instructions, and generation parameters;
- Reference images selected from your device, dragged into the Extension, or pasted with Ctrl+V;
- The selected model, image size, quality, and requested image count;
- Generated images, reverse-engineered prompts, negative prompts, and visual element labels returned by the AI provider.
Model Data and Task History
The Extension synchronizes model names, provider information, and inferred capability labels from the API endpoint you configure. This model list is cached locally in Chrome.
If “Save Task History” is enabled, the Extension stores up to 30 recent task records locally. A record may contain the prompt, selected model, creation time, generated images, or an image thumbnail. You can disable history storage or delete individual and all history records.
2. Where Information Is Sent
To synchronize models, generate images, edit images, or recognize image prompts, the Extension sends the information required for that request directly to the third-party AI endpoint configured by you. The default endpoint is https://api.openai-hub.net/v1, but you may configure another compatible endpoint.
Information sent may include your API key, prompt, reference image, selected model, and generation parameters. Results may be returned by the gateway or an underlying model provider. The Extension developer does not control how a third-party provider stores or further processes data it receives. Review the privacy policy and service terms of your selected provider before submitting sensitive prompts or images.
We recommend using HTTPS endpoints only. An HTTP endpoint may expose transmitted information to interception.
3. Affiliate Registration Link
The Settings page may include an OpenAI Hub registration link containing the personal affiliate parameter aff=jz4Y. Clicking the link opens a third-party website in a new tab. That provider may process IP addresses, browser information, cookies, registration details, and affiliate attribution data under its own privacy policy.
The Extension does not read your registration details from that third-party website and does not require you to use OpenAI Hub. You may configure another compatible AI endpoint.
4. Chrome Permissions
- sidePanel: displays the Extension interface in the Chrome side panel;
- storage and unlimitedStorage: stores settings, model cache, and optional task history locally;
- downloads: saves individual generated images and exported ZIP files;
- api.openai-hub.net host access: connects to the default AI gateway;
- Optional HTTP/HTTPS host access: requested only when you configure another endpoint or download an image from the relevant source, and only after Chrome asks for your permission.
Ctrl+V image paste is handled only after your active paste action. The Extension does not request background clipboard-read permission and does not continuously monitor your clipboard.
5. What We Do Not Collect
The Extension currently:
- Does not collect browsing history, current webpage content, account passwords, or cookies;
- Does not include advertising, behavioral analytics, telemetry, tracking pixels, or third-party analytics SDKs;
- Does not sell, rent, or trade personal information;
- Does not upload clipboard content without your active paste action;
- Does not write API keys into public source code or copied diagnostic reports.
6. Retention and Deletion
Local configuration, model cache, and task history remain in Chrome until you change or delete them, clear the Extension’s data, or uninstall the Extension. Task history is limited to the most recent 30 records.
You can manage local data by:
- Turning off “Save Task History” in Settings;
- Deleting individual records or clearing all history from the Tasks page;
- Replacing your API key in Settings, or clearing the Extension’s Chrome data to remove it completely;
- Uninstalling the Extension and clearing its local data from Chrome.
Retention and deletion of data already sent to a third-party AI provider are governed by that provider’s policies and controls.
7. Data Security
The Extension is designed to minimize data processing and avoid sending information to unnecessary services. Local information is protected by Chrome’s extension storage mechanisms and the security of your device. However, no local storage or network transmission method can guarantee absolute security.
Protect your API key and do not expose it in screenshots, chats, or public pages. If you believe a key has been disclosed, revoke it immediately through the relevant provider and create a new one.
8. Children’s Privacy
The Extension is not directed to children and does not knowingly collect personal information from children. Minors should use the Extension and any connected AI provider only with the guidance and consent of a parent or legal guardian.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy when the Extension’s features, permissions, or data practices change. The revised policy will display a new “Last updated” date. Material changes may also be communicated through an appropriate notice.
