This Privacy Policy explains how Dreamina Video Downloader for Creators (the “Extension”) handles information. The Extension is an independent creator utility. It is not affiliated with Dreamina, CapCut, ByteDance, JIMENG, or their respective owners.

1. Scope

The Extension is designed to run only on jimeng.jianying.com and dreamina.capcut.com. It helps creators identify an official original or licensed video export that is explicitly made available on the current project page.

2. Information the Extension Processes Locally

When you use the Extension on a supported project page, it may read limited page information needed to operate locally in your browser, such as the current page URL, the project or video title, and an official export link when the page explicitly exposes one. This information is used only to present the download interface and request a browser download for the file you select.

The Extension may also save your selected interface language and download preferences in Chrome’s extension storage so those settings remain available on your device.

3. Information We Do Not Collect

The Extension does not collect, transmit, sell, rent, or share your account credentials, passwords, cookies, authentication tokens, payment information, project prompts, video files, or browsing history. It does not upload your videos or page content to our servers, and it does not use analytics, advertising trackers, or remote profiling.

4. Downloads and Creator Rights

The Extension enables a download only when a supported project page explicitly exposes an official original or licensed export URL. It does not remove watermarks, alter a rendered video, bypass access controls, defeat DRM, capture protected streams, or download blob or HLS streams. You are responsible for ensuring that you have the rights and permission to download and use every file you save.

5. Chrome Permissions

The Extension requests only the permissions needed for its core function:

• Site access is limited to the supported JIMENG and Dreamina domains so the Extension can detect a current project and its official export controls.
• Downloads lets Chrome save an export you actively choose to download.
• Storage retains your local language and download-preference settings.
• Side panel and active tab let the Extension display its interface for the page you are currently viewing.

6. Data Security and Retention

Because the Extension does not operate a server or collect personal data, we do not maintain a remote user database. Settings stored through Chrome extension storage remain under your browser profile and can be removed by changing the Extension’s settings or uninstalling the Extension.

7. Third-Party Services

Dreamina, JIMENG, Chrome, and any export-hosting service operate under their own terms and privacy policies. This policy does not govern those third parties or their handling of your information.

8. Children’s Privacy

The Extension is not directed to children and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy if the Extension’s data practices change. The effective date at the top of this page will be updated when a revised policy is posted.
