Privacy Policy for Antidetect Browser

Last updated: July 10, 2026

Antidetect Browser (“the Extension”, “we”, “our”) is a Chrome extension designed to help users manage proxy settings,
test public IP changes, and configure browser fingerprint-related environment options for local testing purposes.
This Privacy Policy explains what information the Extension handles, how it is used, whether it is shared, and how users can manage their data.

1. Information the Extension Handles

The Extension may handle the following categories of data in order to provide its user-facing features:

  • Proxy configuration entered by the user, such as proxy type, host, port, username, password, and proxy API URL.
  • Extension settings entered or selected by the user, such as language, timezone mode, geolocation mode, WebRTC mode, resolution settings, font settings, and auto-extract interval settings.
  • IP check results, such as detected public IP address, country or region, and related network test results.
  • Browser and page-level fingerprint-related signals shown to the user locally inside the extension interface, such as user agent, platform, screen information, language, timezone, canvas hash, audio hash, and WebGL-related values.
  • Debug and status information generated during proxy application, IP testing, and automatic proxy extraction.

2. How the Information Is Used

We use the above information only to provide the extension’s core features, including:

  • Applying the proxy settings configured by the user.
  • Checking whether the current browser traffic is using the expected proxy.
  • Retrieving proxy IP information from a user-provided proxy API endpoint.
  • Displaying current public IP information and network test status.
  • Applying local browser fingerprint-related environment settings selected by the user.
  • Displaying fingerprint-related values for local testing and comparison inside the extension UI.
  • Saving the user’s extension preferences for later use.

3. Local Storage

Most settings and status data used by the Extension are stored locally in the user’s browser through Chrome extension storage.
This may include proxy settings, proxy credentials, API URLs, language settings, and testing status.
These values are stored only so the Extension can function as configured by the user.

4. Data Transmission

The Extension may send network requests in the following cases:

  • When the user enters a proxy API URL and the Extension requests proxy IP data from that user-specified API endpoint.
  • When the user runs an IP or network check and the Extension requests public IP information from the configured lookup endpoint.
  • When the user enables and applies a proxy, browser traffic may be routed through the configured proxy server.

The Extension does not send user data to the developer’s own server for analytics, advertising, profiling, or resale.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or transfer user data to data brokers, advertisers, or unrelated third parties.

Information may only be shared in the following limited cases:

  • With the proxy service or proxy API provider explicitly configured by the user.
  • With the public IP lookup service selected or triggered by the user for network testing.
  • If required by applicable law, regulation, or lawful governmental request.

6. Browsing Activity

The Extension may access page-level information and browser fingerprint-related values in order to provide the user-facing fingerprint testing features shown in the extension interface.
This functionality is used only to display or apply the features requested by the user.
We do not use browsing activity for advertising, profiling, or resale.

7. Authentication and Sensitive Inputs

If the user enters proxy usernames, passwords, API keys, or similar credentials, the Extension uses them only to authenticate the proxy or proxy API functionality requested by the user.
Such information is not sold or used for advertising purposes.
Users should only enter credentials from providers they trust.

8. Data Retention and User Control

Users can control or remove handled data at any time by:

  • Changing or clearing settings inside the Extension.
  • Removing stored proxy history or saved configuration.
  • Uninstalling the Extension, which removes extension-managed local data from Chrome according to browser behavior.

9. Security

We take reasonable steps to limit data handling to the functionality described in this Privacy Policy.
However, users are responsible for the proxy servers, API endpoints, and third-party services they choose to use with the Extension.

10. Children’s Privacy

The Extension is not directed to children under the age required by applicable law, and we do not knowingly design the Extension to collect personal information from children.

11. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect feature updates, compliance requirements, or operational changes.
The updated version will be posted at the same public URL with a revised effective date.
