The extension provides traditional-culture reference tools for BaZi charting, Five Elements analysis, auspicious-date selection, and Chinese name suggestions. It is designed for informational and entertainment reference only and does not provide medical, legal, financial, or other professional advice.

2. Information Processed Locally

To provide the requested features, the extension processes information you enter, including a profile name, birth date, birth time, birthplace, time zone, longitude, and feature preferences. This information is stored locally in your browser through the browser’s local extension storage. The extension does not transmit this information to our servers or to third parties.

3. How Information Is Used

Your locally stored information is used only to generate the requested BaZi chart, Five Elements reference analysis, auspicious-date results, and Chinese name suggestions. The extension does not sell, rent, or share this information, and does not use it for advertising, profiling, credit decisions, or lending purposes.

4. Extension Permissions

• storage: stores your profiles and settings locally in your browser so that they remain available to you.
• activeTab and tabs: identify the currently active tab only after you choose to show or hide the extension panel on that page. The extension does not record your browsing history.
• scripting: injects the extension’s own local panel into the current page only after you request it. The extension does not read, collect, or transmit website content.

5. Data Sharing and Remote Code

The extension contains no remote JavaScript or WebAssembly code. It does not send your entered profile information, page content, browsing history, or other user data to external services. We do not sell or transfer user data to third parties.

6. Your Choices and Data Retention

You can remove locally stored profiles and settings at any time by using the extension’s “Clear local data” option. You may also remove the extension from your browser. Your information is retained only in local extension storage until you choose to clear it or remove the extension.

7. Security

Because information is processed and stored locally in your browser, we do not maintain a server-side database of your birth profile information. Please protect access to your own browser profile and device.

8. Children

The extension is not directed to children. Do not enter personal information for a child unless you have the authority to do so and understand the local-storage behavior described above.
