PulseFind is a lightweight browser extension for saving supported public Instagram Reels that you own or are authorized to download. You do not need to copy a URL or open a separate downloader website. Open the Reel detail page, wait for the complete source to load, then use the green Download button.

Important: Download only content you own or have permission to save. PulseFind does not access private posts, bypass platform controls, or remove watermarks.

Before you start

  • Install PulseFind in Chrome and pin it to the toolbar if you want quick access to the popup.
  • Open Instagram in the same Chrome profile where PulseFind is installed.
  • Use a public Reel that you are allowed to save.

Step 1: Open a Reel from your feed

Start on Instagram and choose the Reel you want to save. Click the Reel so that it opens as an individual video, rather than staying as a preview inside a feed.

Step 1: Open a Reel from the feed
Step 1 — Select and open the Reel you want to download.

Step 2: Wait on the Reel detail page

PulseFind only enables downloading after it finds a complete video source for the Reel currently on screen. Open the extension popup or look beside the video. While the source is loading, the Download button stays gray. This is expected and prevents a download from starting before the video is ready.

Step 2: Wait for the PulseFind video source to load
Step 2 — Keep the Reel detail page open while PulseFind prepares the source.

Step 3: Download when the button turns green

When the status changes to Video ready, the Download button turns green. Click Download current video in the PulseFind popup, or use the compact button beside the Reel. PulseFind starts the download only after you choose this action.

Step 3: Download when the PulseFind button turns green
Step 3 — Click the green button only after the current Reel is ready.

Step 4: Find the saved video

Chrome saves the file to your normal Downloads location. You can open Chrome Downloads to view the file, or use the recent-download list inside PulseFind as a quick reference. The filename uses the Reel caption when available, with a safe fallback name if a caption is not exposed.

Step 4: Find the saved video in browser downloads
Step 4 — Locate the completed file in Chrome Downloads.

If Download stays gray

First confirm that you are on a Reel detail page, not a feed preview or a regular post. Keep the Reel open and let it play briefly. PulseFind updates when you move to a new Reel, so wait for the status to update before downloading.

If the button remains gray, reload the Reel detail page once and let the video start playing. You can use Copy diagnostics in the extension popup to collect technical status information if you need support.

Changing language and getting help

Use the language selector at the top of the PulseFind popup to choose from the supported interface languages. The popup also includes WhatsApp, WeChat, and About contact options for help.

Responsible use

PulseFind is an independent tool and is not affiliated with Instagram or Meta. It is intended for authorized public content only. Please respect copyright, platform terms, and the rights of the original creator.
